Preliminary 2 of the Beep Dishwashing Liquid Rinse & Shine Challenge in Barbados

The Beep Dishwashing Liquid Rinse & Shine Challenge continued in spite of the pouring rain in Barbados on July 1, 2017, with host, Randy Marshall, Brand Manager, Hanschell Inniss Ltd.  Hanschell Inniss Ltd. is the authorized distributor in Barbados of Beep products including Beep Dishwashing Liquid. The second competition of the Beep Dishwashing Liquid Rinse & Shine Challenge series took place at  Emerald City Supermarket, Six Roads, St. Philip.  Teams of 2 were challenged to wash as many of 100 dirty plates as they could in 100 seconds.  The contest was judged at this location by special Beep Rinse & Shine Challenge inspectors, Keisha Crichlow, and a Sales Representative of Hanschell Inniss Ltd.

In round 1, in-laws Donna Sealy and Carlo Griffith competed against Crystal Jones and Kathy-Ann Maynard.  After 100 seconds, the clean plates for each team were tallied by that day’s special Beep Rinse & Shine Challenge inspectors.  Crystal and Kathy-Ann managed to clean 3 plates while Donna and Carlo ended the round with 13 clean plates.  Crystal and Kathy-Ann did not go home empty-handed though.  Instead, they went home as a team with a $100 voucher for free groceries from Emerald City Supermarket compliments of Hanschell Inniss Ltd. and McBride Caribbean Ltd., owner of the Beep brand.  Donna and Carlo advanced to the lightning round to compete against the team from round 2 that washed more plates.

Next, two husband and wife teams stepped up to the game sink in round 2 – Shelly-Ann and Mark Husbands versus Fitz and Floretta. After 100 seconds, the special Rinse & Shine inspectors tallied the clean plates in favour of Fitz and Floretta who together washed 14 dishes over Shelly-Ann and Mark’s 6.  Mark and Shelly-Ann went home with a $100 voucher for free groceries from Emerald City Supermarket compliments of Hanschell Inniss Ltd. and McBride Caribbean Ltd.  Fitz and Floretta stood by for the final lightning round to see who would emerge victorious and qualify to advance to the final round of the Beep Rinse & Shine Challenge to compete to win the $5,000 grand prize.

Donna and Carlo stepped up to the Beep Rinse & Shine Challenge game sink at the start of the lightning round to battle against round 2’s Fitz and Floretta.  Randy started the round off and as both teams readied themselves to give this round their all, Randy jumped in with a surprise.  The Beep Rinse & Shine Challenge special inspectors were invite to the game sink to bound the team mates together at the wrist for a 3-handed dishwashing race!  After the initial surprise wore off, the contestants regrouped and gave everything they had to clean as many of the 100 plates as they could in 100 seconds.  Randy counted down with the audience to the final 10 seconds on the clock, “…3, 2, 1! Beep! Beep! Beep!”  As the team members stepped away from the game sink, the Beep Rinse & Shine Challenge special inspectors came to conduct their inspection.  Their final tally for the day revealed the qualifiers from this preliminary round advancing to the final at the Hanschell Inniss Sales Centre for a chance to win $5,000.  Donna and Carlo emerged victorious and ssecured themselves a spot in the final.  Both of these teams received a $100 voucher for free groceries from Emerald City Supermarket compliments of Hanschell Inniss Ltd. and McBride Caribbean Ltd. for participating in the second instalment of the Beep Rinse & Shine Challenge series.

The Beep Dishwashing Liquid Rinse & Shine Challenge Kicks off in Barbados

Entrants were required to purchase 1 bottle of Beep Dishwashing Liquid 850ml in any of the 3 scents – Lemon Fresh, Lime Zest and Orange Blossom – then fill in an entry form and drop in the boxes provided at participating retailers.  Participants competed as teams of 2 in 1 of 4 preliminary rounds to see who could wash the highest number of 100 dirty dishes in 100 seconds using Beep Dishwashing Liquid for a chance to compete again in the final round at the Hanschell Inniss Sales Centre to win the grand prize of $5,000 cash.

In round 1, relatives Charlene Jordan and Ingrid Collymore competed against husband-and-wife team, Sylvan Parris and Gale Weekes.  After 100 seconds, the clean plates for each team were tallied by that day’s special Beep Rinse & Shine Challenge inspectors.  Charlene and Ingrid managed to wash 6 plates while Gale and Sylvan ended the round with 8 clean plates.  Charlene and Ingrid did not go home empty-handed.  Instead, they went home as a team with a $100 voucher for free groceries from Massy Stores compliments of Hanschell Inniss Ltd. and McBride Caribbean Ltd., owner of the Beep brand.  Gale and Sylvan advanced to the lightning round to compete against the team from round 2 that washed more plates.

Longtime friends, Claudine Walcott and Rudolph McClean stepped up to the sink in round 2 to wash against aunt-and-nephew team, Heather and Justin.  After 100 seconds, the special Rinse & Shine inspectors tallied the clean plates in favour of Claudine and Rudolph who together washed 9 dishes over Heather and Justin’s 6.  Heather Small and Justin Small went home as a team with a $100 voucher for free groceries from Massy Stores compliments of Hanschell Inniss Ltd. and McBride Caribbean Ltd.  Claudine and Rudoph stood by for the final lightning round to see who would emerge victorious and qualify to advance to the final round of the Beep Rinse & Shine Challenge to compete to win the $5,000 grand prize.
